Sonia Goydenko es una galardonada fotógrafa de calle con reconocimiento internacional, cuya obra ha sido destacada en prestigiosos festivales como el Italian Street Photo Festival, el Miami Street Photo Festival y el Aussie Street Photography Festival.
Su trabajo ha sido publicado en una variedad de publicaciones de renombre como The New York Times, Huffington Post, Eyeshot Magazine y The Pictorialist, además de formar parte del célebre libro Women Street Photographers.
Sus fotografías han sido exhibidas en diversas galerías de todo el mundo, entre ellas Umbrella Arts, Trieste Photo, Contact Photo y Plaxall Gallery.
Con una sólida trayectoria como profesora invitada en la School of Visual Arts y como jurado en competiciones italianas de fotografía de calle, Sonia aporta una perspectiva única al mundo de la fotografía. Es miembro del New York City Street Photography Collective, donde regularmente imparte talleres de fotografía y ofrece revisiones de portafolios personalizadas en línea.
Con un compromiso dedicado a fomentar talentos emergentes, Sonia ha ayudado a numerosos fotógrafos en camino al reconocimiento en festivales, galerías y competiciones prestigiosas como LensCulture, Italian Street Photo Festival y Women Street Photographers Exhibitions.
Fundó la página de Instagram @showmeyourduds, una plataforma educativa creada para estudiantes de fotografía, donde fotógrafos talentosos comparten imágenes que consideran fallidas.
Actualmente divide su tiempo entre Nueva York y Santa Fe, Nuevo México, donde continúa enseñando fotografía, creando fotolibros e inmersa en el extraño y creativo medio que es la fotografía.
