100 YEARS 100 WOMEN was showcased in 2024 at two prominent cultural venues in Paris, France, where it captivated the attention and interest of a wide audience.
The exhibition received a warm welcome from visitors, who praised both the depth of its content and the artistic quality of the showcase.
This project not only celebrated women’s achievements but also encouraged reflection on the challenges and progress in the fight for gender equality, establishing itself as a landmark event in the international cultural landscape.
Latife’s photographic journey began in 2012 with the early smartphone cameras. She was captivated by the ability to spontaneously capture moments, made possible by always having a camera at hand. Since then, she has actively participated in international street photography communities and festivals.
Her photographs have been showcased in various exhibitions and featured in prestigious photography magazines. She has been awarded the Women Street Photographers and Leica Women Foto Project Grant in New York and secured third place at the Pisa Street Photography Festival and the Livorno Photo Meeting in 2023.
In 2022, Latife became the Paris ambassador for the 24HourProject, aiming to engage her photography community in contributing to a cause. She currently organizes collective and solo exhibitions with various themes throughout the city of Paris.
