Invisible Cities: The City and Desire / Fülle Gallery

Invisible Cities: The City and Desire / Fülle Gallery

The project emerges as a poetic call to photographers worldwide, inviting them to decipher the hidden rhythms of the urban landscape through street photography. Inspired by the words of Italo Calvino—“Invisible cities are a dream born from the heart of unlivable cities”—this initiative seeks to capture the intangible: the desires, memories, and contradictions that pulse beneath the asphalt.

METROPOLITAN CHIC

We seek images that capture the elusive yet glamorous essence of metropolitan life, where fashion—ranging from refined attire to eclectic styles—merges seamlessly with the urban landscape, reflecting cultural identity and everyday existence. The goal is to document the diversity and expressive richness of the city through a contemporary and sophisticated lens.

Reflections on the Periphery

We invite photographers to unveil the hidden poetry within the margins—gestures of resistance, flashes of dignity, and the fragile beauty of what endures. We seek photographs that do more than document; images that question, provoke, and ultimately transform our perspective on urban life. An exploration of the city’s forgotten edges, where light and shadow intertwine.

Culture Out Loud

We celebrate the vibrant cultural expressions woven into the urban fabric—festivals, dances, music, rituals, and spontaneous gatherings. Images that capture how art and popular culture shape, challenge, and breathe new life into the city at every turn.

About Fülle, Galería

Fülle is an art gallery specializing in contemporary photography with an international reach. Since our beginnings at the Bollini Foundation in Recoleta, we have built a collaborative network that allows us to inspire new generations and expand the understanding of visual language.

We believe photography is a gateway to the world—a record, a memory, a protest, and a celebration. It is light and shadow, a fleeting moment and deep emotion; a language powerful enough to open doors to empathy and dialogue between cultures.

At Fülle, we provide a space for artists, curators, collectors, and art enthusiasts, embracing the diversity of perspectives and the transformative power of images. We understand art as a living dialogue, and we are committed to being part of a conversation that transcends borders, time, and sensibilities.
