Photographer / Judge SONY Alpha: MX Street Photo Contest 2025
Ramón Cruz Guillén holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Communication from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. He has trained in Photographic Methodology, Portraiture, Documentary Photography, Photobook Editing, New Documentary Practices, Street Photography, Photography 3.0, and Digital Narratives with Mobile Devices.
His work has been exhibited individually and collectively in Brussels, Istanbul, Italy, India, Peru, Poland, London, and Mexico, and has been published in magazines such as Better Photography and Cuarto Oscuro. He has also contributed to collective projects such as El Coronalibro by UAM Cuajimalpa and the recent Mexican Street Photography Anthology, among others.
He participates in international collectives such as 14&15 Mobile Photographers in Rome, Italy, and the North South Latin American Collective. He is also a member of the Observatory of Photographic Culture at Universidad Panamericana. Currently, he serves as a University Professor at the Faculty of Graphic Design and Communication at ESCOGRAF, a position he has held for over 20 years. He is deeply interested in collaborating on photographic projects and academic research focused on expanded image and transmedia narratives.
