About Tim Huynh

At first glance, Tim Huynh may seem focused on photographing sunburns and the quirks of everyday street scenes. However, his true interest lies in capturing people’s perceptions of what it means to vacation (tourists/visitors) versus what it means to live (locals) in Hawaii.

Over the years, his work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Honolulu Civil Beat, Hawaiian Airlines Hana Hou, and Frames Magazine. In addition to his street photography work, Tim has directed and produced a feature-length documentary on contemporary street photography titled Fill The Frame.
