This contest celebrates the vision and extraordinary skills of street photographers.
20 finalist photographs will be exhibited as part of the 2024 MX Street Photo Fest activities at the MACQ (Museum of Contemporary Art of Queretaro). from October 26 to November 24.

What are we looking for?
Images having the human condition in public as the main topic, captured in public spaces spontaneously.
What is not street photography?
Please avoid:
1.-The contest is open to photographers who are 18 years old or older (by the time of entry), of any nationality, regardless of their experience in street photography.
2.- Photographs must be captured spontaneously and in public spaces.
3.- Photographs must be originals, of the photographer’s authorship and can not be generated artificially e.g. by AI programs, digital edition, etc. Metadata will be verified.
4.- Photographs can be in color or black and white.
5.- There are no restrictions on the model, type or brand of camera used. Photographs captured with cell phones, film or digital cameras are all accepted.
6.- The time period of the photographs is irrelevant, but recently captured photographs are encouraged.
Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content, as determined by the Festivals curatorship in its sole discretion, are ineligible for this contest.
7.- Photographs with watermarks, signatures, frames, etc. will not be accepted.

3.- Select the corresponding bundle depending on the number of photographs to submit:
Bundle A: 1 photo x $5 USD
Bundle B: 3 photos x $12 USD
Bundle C: 5 photos x $18 USD + 1 complimentary photo
4.- Complete the submission process to register your photos.

You will receive a follow-up email with instructions for manual submission, alongside your payment order for the corresponding bundle.
New Deadline: October 1st!
1.-Finalists will be selected after an evaluation of all compliant photographs by our jury panel.
2.- Only 1 photograph per finalist may be selected.
3.- The decision will be notified to participants through the email registered during the submission process. It is the contestant’s responsibility to make sure that all personal information is correctly submitted.
Said email will notify them as finalists, as well as the requirements for a printing file.
4.- Once the notification email has been sent, finalists will have a 3 working-days time limit to share their file and information with the corresponding requirements. If MSPF does not receive a reply within this time limit, the photograph will be automatically disqualified, giving way to the next finalist.
5.- The 20 finalist photographs will be exhibited at the MACQ (Museum of Contemporary Art of Queretaro).
What to do if I’m selected as one of the 20 finalists?
1.-Winners will be officially announced on October 26, 2024 at the contest exhibition opening.
2.- The top 3 best photographs will be chosen by our jury panel.

Winners will be officially announced on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the contest exhibition opening at the MACQ (Museum of Contemporary Art of Queretaro), as well as through our website, social media and through a livestream of the exhibition opening.
1.- MXSPF 2024 International Street Photography Contest will feature 7 judges organized as follows:

3.- The MXSPF organizing team has no influence on the jury’s decisions.
