A graduate in economics with studies in communication sciences, has also been passionate about drawing and painting from a very young age.
His background in communications and economics, combined with his photography, allows him to understand, to some extent, the human condition and the aesthetics that individuals project.
Since 2010, he has been working on documentary photography projects and essays in collaboration with various national and international NGOs. His focus is on exploring the human condition and its relationship with the environment.
In 2015, he began a photographic essay centered around the inhabitants of Lima’s city center.
In addition to his work as a documentary photographer, Arturo conducts individual and virtual workshops on Photographic Language and Project Development.
He has been a finalist in photography salons in France, Italy, Dubai, India, and the USA.
His work has been featured in both collective and solo exhibitions in Peru and abroad. He has also received recognition on social media, interviews, and publications related to his projects in national and international media outlets.
