Christelle Enquist is a Spanish-Swedish photographer based in Menorca, Spain. Christelle Enquist is a Spanish-Swedish photographer based in Menorca, Spain. She is the co-founder of The Raw Society, an organization dedicated to promoting, educating, and strengthening the community in the fields of street, travel, and documentary photography.
Raised in Singapore, Enquist speaks four languages and considers photography her fifth—using it as a medium to connect with people and capture the world’s cultural richness. After a decade-long career in advertising, at the age of 33, she embarked on a six-month solo journey—an experience that reignited her passion for photography and reshaped her professional path.
Her work has been exhibited internationally in countries such as Australia, the United States, Belgium, and Nepal. In 2024, a retrospective showcasing eight years of her work was presented in Menorca. Additionally, in 2021, her photography was featured in the book Women Street Photographers, published by Penguin Random House.
Through The Raw Society, Enquist serves as a mentor and organizes workshops, community events, and projects aimed at fostering learning and creativity in photography. She is also the editor-in-chief of The Raw Society Magazine.
