“I was born in Germany in 1984 to a German mother and an Iranian father.
After finishing school I went to university to become a teacher for mathematics, Spanish and German as a foreign language, but after finishing my studies I started to work in our family business, renovating old houses.
About the time I started my studies, my interest in photography grew and I began to shoot a lot of black and white film and developed everything by myself in the garage of my parents home.
It wasn’t before 2017, that I bought my first digital camera and started to shoot in color more often and became fascinated by the current street photography scene.
I also started to study photography in part time at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen.
With my photographic works, I was already represented at several renowned international street photography festivals, exhibitions and gave a lecture on the street photography scene in Cologne at the first German festival for street photography in Hamburg in 2019.”
