Exponent
Born in Vienna, Austria, Eva has lived in several countries, including France, the USA, and Germany. For years, she sought her inner voice and found it through street photography. As a self-taught photographer, Eva discovered her passion through a podcast by Betty Goh, which led her to attend a workshop with Siegfried Hansen. This experience opened her eyes to the world of street photography.
She has expressed that her passion for photography began at an early age, starting with analog film alongside her father. After years of working as a project manager and dedicating herself to her family, she rediscovered photography and fully immersed herself in the craft.
She explores light, shadow, and abstraction to reveal unseen patterns and fleeting moments in everyday life. Her work transforms ordinary urban scenes into unexpected compositions, striking a balance between spontaneity and structure.
To continue evolving and avoid stagnation, she is currently studying street portraiture, capturing subjects in a simple and honest manner that reflects her perspective of them.
Eva’s photographs have been featured in the exhibition and photobook Familiar Strangers by the ´Galerie Ephemere´ in Tokyo and the Monochrome exhibition and its photobook by ´The Streetsoup Galerie´ in Milan. She was also a finalist in Women Street Photographers, showcased in two exhibitions in Brazil.
She is a member of Street Photography France and, in 2024, she founded Women in Street Vienna to connect and support female street photographers.
