Exponent
Melissa O’Shaughnessy is a photographer based in New York City. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including a solo show at the Municipal Art Society of New York, and group exhibitions at the Museum of the City of New York and the International Center of Photography.
Her work is included in the anthologies “Bystander: A History of Street Photography”, “Women Street Photographers”, and “Reclaim the Street: Street Photography’s Moment”.
Her first monograph, “Perfect Strangers: New York City Street Photographs” was published by Aperture in October, 2020. She is a member of UP, an international collective of 26 photographers.
