I am Nazile Bolat. I am working at a private company as a financial advisor. I am one of the founding member of Women in Street Turkey and Through The Lands Collective is member. I am also a member of the Zoneproject Collective, where we work on women-related issues. We completed a project and opened an exhibition in 2024.
Until 2014, I was taking only souvenir photos. In 2014, I became a member of the photography club with the recommendation of a friend. After taking nature photos for about two years, I went on a different quest. In this process, I met street photography.
While I am watching people in the dynamyc structure of the street, to lost myself in my world and try something new, be at the moment, and led by the light excites me.
I live in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. I often find reasons to take pictures in the city I live in, the village where I was born and raised, and other cities I travel to. In a world where everything is constantly changing, the satisfaction of capturing the moment when a fragile balance is formed by including my intuition in what I see caused me to become passionately attached to street photography.
