Photojournalist based in Monterrey, founder and coordinator of Fotógrafas del Norte and member of the Ibero-American collective Cuerpas reales. Hinchas reales. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences from UANL, and her photography education has been shaped through various accredited workshops and specialized courses in photojournalism and documentary photography.
Her photojournalistic work has been published in the newspaper El Norte in Monterrey and in other international media through Agencia Reforma since 2011.
She has participated in various national and international collective exhibitions in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, and the United States, in venues such as the Bronx Documentary Center in New York, Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery, Centro de la Imagen, CONARTE, and in 2024 at The Art Pavilion in London in the exhibition Hábitat: El consentir de la tierra, and the exhibition Cuerpas reales, Hinchas reales at The John Lennon Art & Design School in Liverpool, as well as in the first street photography exhibition by Mexican women and Fotógrafas del Norte Vol.1.
In 2023, she was part of the first Development Center for Photographic Projects in Nuevo León and participated in the 2022 Review of Fotógrafos de Nuevo León and Fotógrafos emergentes 2021. Her work is also part of the International Catalog Wopha Becoming Sisters: Women Photography Collectives and Organizations.
She was a participant in the program “Backing new alliances to eradicate violence against women in politics and media” by IWMF and NDI from 2020 to 2022, and in Laboratoria Margeniales. Displacing narratives. Curation and dissenting voices, in collaboration with Centro Cultural de España in Mexico and Marejada. Indiscipline with a gender perspective in 2022.
