- Ximena’s work has been exhibited in over 20 countries across Europe, America, and Asia. Her portfolio includes 5 solo exhibitions (including at the European Parliament, Brussels, and the United Nations, New York) and more than 80 group exhibitions.
- Recognized by prestigious publications such as The New York Times, BBC News, and The Washington Post, her photography has also been featured in Fotografiska NYC, Leica Fotografie International, L’Oeil de la Photographie, LensCulture, National Geographic, PH Museum, Street Photography Foundation, among many others, and was nominated for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2021.
- Ximena’s commitment to promoting and supporting other artists is evident through her participation as a curator, judge, and producer, as well as being a mentor for “La Vie en Bleu”, a residency program and photographic exhibitions in Nice, France.
- In 2024 she launched her first book titled “TRAPPED” published by Daylight Books, awarded by the Federation of European Professional Photographers (FEP).
Part of her photography is in the collection of the Museum of the City of New York, the International Center of Photography, New York, as well as various private collectors.
