International exponent
“I am Zer Erdoğan. I was born in Kahramanmaraş Elbistan. My educational period was spent in the village primary school, secondary school and high school in Bremen, Germany, and university in Istanbul.
I started taking photos at university, but I didn’t learn how to take photos. More than the necessity of learning to take photographs; what matters more to me is being able to see and capture the ‘moment’.
I mostly like to take photos of people on the street with their stance and expression. Because even when a person walks, they carry with them their sadness, hope, longing, regret, and if they have it, their love.
The moment I see an expression and stance that tells me something, it becomes a photograph for me! I believe it is becoming me, it is becoming my energy! The photo should also tell what I see. That’s why I read a lot about photography.
Photography is a passion for me. That’s why I usually have my camera with me.
I founded @mystreet_bnw and @mystreet_women because of my love for this photo..
