Melissa O’Shaughnessy es una fotógrafa radicada en la ciudad de Nueva York. Su trabajo ha sido exhibido internacionalmente, incluyendo una exposición individual en la Municipal Art Society de Nueva York, y exposiciones colectivas en el Museum of the City of New York y el International Center of Photography.
Su obra está incluida en las antologías “Bystander: A History of Street Photography”, “Women Street Photographers” y “Reclaim the Street: Street Photography’s Moment”.
Su primer monografía, “Perfect Strangers: New York City Street Photographs”, fue publicada por Aperture en octubre de 2020. Es miembro de UP, un colectivo internacional de 26 fotógrafos.
