Portfolio reviews are individual review and feedback sessions focused on the conceptual, narrative, and visual development of photography projects.

During this session, we will analyze your work in depth to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and possible directions for the development of your project.

The street as a Mirror

Workshop with Gustavo Minas

This intensive course has been designed for street photographers—whether beginners or experienced—who are looking to incorporate new tools into their photography to help them develop a personal style.

In addition to deepening your mastery of creating unique and striking photos, the workshop will also explore how to turn powerful individual images into a cohesive series, whether for publication on the web, for a photography contest, or for a print edition.

Just By Looking

Workshop with Juan Carlos Reyes García

The student will explore the creative process of photography through observing and understanding decisive moments on the street.

The photographs taken will be analyzed both in groups and individually, applying the topics covered in class. In addition, the work of important photographers will be reviewed, and time will be set aside between sessions for practice and taking photographs.

Objectives

Students should understand, explore, and reflect on images, using street photography as a starting point. In every image, we are in the presence of time, an element that will undoubtedly outlive us. We are fragile and transient, while the image becomes an element of the future, of permanence.

Photography has a brighter future than those who view it, as it leaves a visual and tangible record of everyday moments that societies choose to reflect upon.
